A few memorable moments about food and meals.
While travelling through France, after one night in Rouen, waking up to the aromas of bread from the adjacent bakery was soon followed by a breakfast that included fresh croissants that had obviously just been delivered and which have never been equalled subsequently.
Other memories from that holiday included, at the Gour de Tazenat, raspberry ice-creams that were packed with fruit.
A rotisserie in the town we were staying at provided regular chicken meals, occasionally accompanied by sparkling white wine.
